A Thunderbird Alumni, after completing her MBA from USA, Charu Modi Bhartia worked for one of the largest Managed Care Organizations in the USA - Kaiser Permanente. Ms Bhartia found that one of the biggest workforce challenges for US  hospitals was to get qualified healthcare professionals, especially nurses, in large numbers .She realized at that time in 1996 that this could be a huge opportunity for our Indian Healthcare professionals - if they had access to the right training and guidance. Thus began a germ of an idea that resulted in over a two years of research in devising a program that could equip our nurses to meet the challenges and opportunities of the markets in the West.
